Activities for the psychedelic themed photos
The first activity is to research other photos that link to music photography in some aspects as Psychedelia is associated with rock music/ indie hip-hop as well as psychedelic photography. I will therefore need to draw some sketches ( a visualisation diagram) as this will therefore showcase and connote what my finished, edited photo will look like.
I will also need to get some example images that could inspire the way in which I take my images however if needed I may have to contact the owner to use the images and also create a bibliography which will show the websites in which I used the images off, which should take about 30 minutes in total.
The photos will be planned with detail in order to get the highest quality of photos, and my shoot will be taken throughout various areas in Sheffield, in order to get a variety of high quality shots as if I want my photos to be displayed at a gallery, or another artistic venue, they must be at the highest quality possible, in order to match their standards.
After taking the images, I will need to edit the photos in Photoshop so I can get the best colour and if needed I could add pictures to make it look more better. this will take 1.5 hours.
After I have taken the photos, I will need to send the finished and edited photos to the client, I will also have to convert the raw file type to a JPEG image because this is a small file, quick to send and is of a high quality. The screen resolution of the image will be need to be 72PPI as this way it wont be pixelated and it is also a small image/file which will allow it to load fast.
Finally, I will get the feedback off the client so that I will know what they think of my photos and also give me feedback in which changes I will need to make if they think the change fits the brief better This will be done within about 1 hour.
I will take various landscape shots for my shoot, as I believe that landscape shots of industrious areas in Sheffield with the added psychedelic effects in Photoshop, will create a really unique, futuristic set of photographs which are perfect for my genre of photography as it is based on a 1960's Psychedelic theme which therefore connotes2 that I will have to use a lot of bright vivid colours in order to complete my theme as this theme is based on really out of this world and dreamy concepts, and this can be applied in Photoshop by adjusting the saturation, colour balance, and also duplicating the layers and changing the opacity to give it a 3d, trippy looking effect which embraces my other-worldly, psychedelic theme.
